Driver Qualifications - Class A CDL


- At least 12 months of Class A verifiable driving experience within last 3 years
- Age 23 or older
- No preventable DOT Recordable accidents while operating a CMV in the last 2 years
- No more than 2 property damage or fixed object accidents while operating a CMV in the last 3 years
- No DUI/DWI, Careless/Reckless driving citations or revoked/suspended license in the past 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No use of electronic device while driving violations
- Review and approval of MVR & PSP Driver Violations Report
- Able to pass a complete DOT physical, drug screen & road test

 Earning Potential: drivers have earning potential of $100,000+ a year hauling refrigerated freight. Most drivers will earn $80,000-$90,000 annually. Top mileage pay for reefer is $.69 a mile. Top dry van is $.64 a mile(this does not include pharma pay with opportunity to make more money! Also our idle bonus would be additional to this pay listed above as well)

Solo Company Driver:

Base Pay 
$.57
on all miles

Safety Bonus Program: 
We put bonus opportunities in the drivers hands. Be safe - Be rewarded! 
A driver must not have any internal or external safety violations or citations. Violations/citations shall exclude a driver from receiving any incentives for the month in which the violations occurred. A violation in this month for example – would prevent you from receiving your incentive pay next month.
Safety Score Calculations
- Collision Risk: Following distance, late responses, defensive driving collision warning
- Harsh Driving: Harsh brakes or turns
- Speeding: weighted by duration and value includes makes speed
- Traffic Control: Rolling stops, failure to yield, red lights violations, lane departures


.03 CPM – Log Bonus
Requirements:
- Safety score on Samsara: 95-98
- No HOS Violations, Citations, or Accidents
- Proper, accurate logging
- Pre-trips logged and notated (verified via DVIR report)
- 30-minute break logged and notated
- Fueling logged and notated
- Equipment and Shipping ID logged correctly on each trip


.07 CPM – Critical Event Safety & Admin Bonus
(Log Bonus must be met first)
Requirements:
- Safety score on Samsara: 99–100

- Collision Risk: Following distance, late responses, defensive driving, collision warnings
- Harsh Driving: Harsh brakes or turn
- Speeding: Weighted by duration and value; includes max speed
- Traffic Control: Rolling stops, failure to yield, red light violations, lane departure
- No paperwork problems
- Signed POD scanned within 24 hours
- POD must be sent in clear and legible
- 95% on time Delivery Percentage (driver controllable)


Additional Pay Opportunities:

Refrigerated Pay
All loaded refrigerated miles (reefer on) will be paid an additional $.05 per mile

Pharma Pay 
If on a true pharmaceutical reefer run that has various protocols including photos, constant communication & tracking and not stopping for 200 miles, etc. All loaded pharma miles will be paid an additional $.10 per mile

Minimum Weekly Pay
- Year one weekly minimum pay $1350
- Year two weekly minimum pay $1500
- Year three weekly pay minimum $1600
- Year four weekly pay minimum $1700
- Year five and beyond weekly pay minimum $1800
  • You must be available for a minimum of 5.5 days per work week
  • The work week starts 0001 Monday ends 2359 Sunday.
  • Being available is defined as ready, willing and able to work
  • Examples of but not limited to being defined as unavailable are: illness, breakdown, weather shutdown, load reschedules due to driver error, rejected loads, force majeure, requested time off. 
There are additional requirements that must be met each week to receive minimum pay. Please ask recruiting/operations if you have questions.


Per Diem
We do have this available for drivers that want to it. Current rate is $.09 per mile.

Company Team:
$.75 a mile (.375 ea). Reefer & Dry
$.90 a mile (.45 ea) on Pharmaceutical loads

Teams are paid a flat rate for miles as listed above.
No additional compensation currently.

Vacation & Mileage Raises
- After 1 year and 125,000 miles, you will receive:
  • $1,250 vacation pay
  • ½ cent raise per mile
- After the initial milestone, you’ll continue to receive:
  • $1,250 vacation pay on the paycheck following your anniversary (annually)
  • ½ cent raise for every additional 125,000 miles (e.g., 250K, 375K, 500K, etc.)
- Vacation Time:
  • Years 1–3: 1 week
  • Years 4–6: 2 weeks
  • Years 7+: 3 weeks (Vacation paid in the same manner as initial year)

Idle Incentive
- Idle 12.5% or less
  • Earn $0.02 CPM on all dispatched miles during that month.
  • This is paid out as a bonus after the previous month has been completed.

  • $3,000 total (3 payments over time. Both drivers must be employed and in good standing at all increments)
